there was a event hosted where we got to draw pieces relating to @melonsharks really fun and cute AUs as a thank you to them for hosting the gift exchange event a few months ago! i picked their kindergarten AU because it’s just such a cute idea. and the thought of benry as a janitor and black mesa being a school is horrifying and also hilarious. it was really fun drawing shark’s benrey, joshie, and gordon designs. they are a hella great artist and i hope to reach their level one day  👍 🙏

  • How Gordon started liking Benrey… They’ve known each other for a long time and Benrey has always kind of antagonized him, so it does really take him a while to come along. Benrey is funny and kinda cute in a weird kinda way, but they’re RUDE and not great with kids??? If the way they act around his students means anything??

    Benrey really does suck with kids, they’re way too awkward, even though kids are fascinated by how weird they are. But the real way to Gordon’s heart isnt necessarily his own students, anyway. It’s Joshua.

    And Joshua fucking ADORES Benrey. And Benrey is great with Joshua! Joshua may not go to Black Mesa Kindergarten anymore, but Joshua was always and still is Benrey’s favorite little shit NDJDHDJJD.

    So after Take-Your-Son-To-Work Day, it gets pretty easy.
