They’re definitely an All Frog Is A Good Frog kinda person, but when they find out this tiny motherfucker exists, it’s a big hit with the part of his brain that makes the happy brain juice.

-Menelaus is normally really gentle with those around him, but Paris annoys him like nobody else does, so he can get a bit rough.

-Paris, in turn, just really likes pushing his buttons for the same of getting his attention.

-Their enemies to lovers dynamic is more of a rivals to lovers dynamic cuz they’re always trying to one-up each other even when it’s completely unnecessary

-Menelaus bi, Paris gay. Menelaus LOVED Helen, at some point, Paris thought he liked her, at some point.

-Slow-burn falling for each other in every universe in my head.

-I refuse to villainize Helen. More than anything else, she gets to the point where she just understands them both and eventually understands that it isn’t about her at all.

Im gonna assume this is like. About classic patrochilles. It kinda varies in my head, but I always go back to thinking about TSOA. The scene with the lyre at the very beginning stuck out to me.

When they first meet, Patroclus feels really bitter towards Achilles, initially, and hates him at least a little bit. His charisma, his natural charm is just a little bit grating to him and he can’t help but be irritated by him. There’s a little envy there, but its because Patroclus has no self confidence (whereas Achilles has too much.)

But when Achilles first meets Patroclus, first impression, he was probably initially disinterested. Another boy to his possee. But the very second Patroclus doesn’t fawn over him, he is smitten and its the point of no return for him hsjdjs my constant is always that Achilles falls in love first and falls in love fast. Patroclus’ sass and his wit, how could you not? He thinks Patroclus is extraordinary.

I read a fic once where Achilles is straight up an asshole to Patroclus cuz, yanno, he is a spoiled brat, but it was really really good. Like. It was like enemies to lovers and the progression…the character development. It was absolutely brilliant. So I honestly really like that too! The idea that Achilles is just frustrated by someone not being all over him and Patroclus notably Not Caring, slowly falling into each other the more they spend time together. So. So good.

YES. this is a good question, i was just thinking about this. Achilles/Patroclus, of course, i genuinely can’t see them with anybody else. Hades/Persephone, Eurydice/Orpheus, Eros and Psyche…all those good classic mythological love story answers.

I also Really ship odysseus and diomedes hagsdja but odysseus/penelope as WELL thats his wife he loves her so much. hector/andromache are so good, they are so tender…. 

i’ve recently been REALLY into menelaus/paris. i even wrote a fic for them. 

HOWDY ummm…. my first encounter with greek mythology…Im pretty sure I was a kid. Disney’s Hercules probably sparked an initial interest? Then I think it was a social studies class in elementary school, where we talked about ancient Greece for a bit. But it REALLY popped off for me when I read The Iliad in high school for a class! 

My favorite was probably Hector back then? HAGjgsj i still really love him.  i really had a soft spot for Menelaus, and I thought Diomedes was cool! I like Achilles, ofc. My favorite now though is (gestures vaguely at my blog) Patroclus. No contest.

In terms of the gods, Hades and Persephone have always been my all time favorites. Which is maybe cliche to say? But I can’t help it kjhfdskd

HELLO!!! I love this question. My favorite outfit to draw them in is puppy shirt!!! usually with mom jeans in my head, but sometimes shorts and an unbuttoned overshirt!!! so, that i think is their favorite outfit in my pat’s case ehehe… i think he also likes to wear sweaters and anything he finds comfortable, long sweatpants, long coats, skirts, etc.

They’re not getting annoying at ALL!!! I always realize you’ve sent me a question a little too late because I earnestly don’t use tumblr TOO much compared to twitter… I appreciate the questions about my pat…i see patrochilles in such a particular way in my head and it’s so nice to get to share it T_T

i think!!!! i think pat thinks sharks are neat!! like he probably isn’t a huge enjoyer of them like i am but he appreciates their place in the ecosystem!!!!! 

it was a small moment but in the new chapter two halves of a whole (a patrochilles fic that my friend is writing, it’s really good!!!), pat mentions like. sharks for a moment. and it’s little things like that that i always appreciate. i really love sharks so any mention of them makes me really happy hgdsh

that being said!!! i know a lot of things about sharks! they’ve been my special interest since i was a kid! my favorite shark fun fact is abt my favorite shark: white tip reef sharks like to cuddle in little shark piles!! it’s how they sleep!!
