i did some artfights this year and never posted but theres no time like the present so heres my attack for @melonsharks!
i’m not sure if there’s already a post going around because i haven’t seen one, so i’ll make my own. puerto rico was just hit with hurricane fiona and the harm that this is bringing the island is huge — it may not seem like a big disaster to many, but puerto rico cannot handle another hurricane as they have not recovered fully from hurricane maria just yet.
people are losing their homes, they don’t have electricity, no water, etc. i’m linking some sources you can donate to to help out, if you’re able to. if you can’t, a reblog counts for so much too, as it may show up in the dashboard of someone who can donate. DO NOT donate to red cross or government organizations. these are the ppals of each organization I recommend donating to!!

here is a twitter thread with more options and resources. here is another thread in spanish with a bunch more.

💥 Reblogs are super appreciated! Thanks so much! 💥
i made another art outfit meme, this time i tried to make all the outfits fit a similar theme of rainbows and lots of decoration! please feel free to change the colors or add/remove details when you draw these yourself ^w^ and the pride buttons and bracelets are all optional, you can change the flag to a different one when you draw it as well!
dont repost this to other sites, and dont rb if youre a t-erf, trans-med, or a pro-shipper. dont draw these outfits with characters from gross series or real people

out of curiousity do you make the charms yourself or do you go through a website to make them? :O ive been wanting to get into charm making but i have no idea where to start and you have been a very big inspiration for that!!
Good question!! It is through a website, I don’t have the resources to make them myself. There are loads of websites for it. Like vograce, zap creatives, juno…
I will say that getting them done by yourself from any manufacturer is awfully expensive (the shipping prices tend to be high), so really the best advice I can give is that if you can find a good group of people willing to order stuff with you, so that you can all split the shipping price, that will absolutely be your best bet for charm making!
I hope you manage to start making charms!! I’m having a blast with it :]
hey i know those guys! half-life funny!
making new merch ^_^ these guys are supposed to be all separate charms so people can cop their favorite half-life funny guy. Im even going to give them color coded clasps! anyways peep side B below the cut.

23, Frenrey?
(I’m stealing the 90’s cryptid-hunting AU from @melonsharks for this because I got An Image in my head and had to run with it. There are over 2k words under the cut.)
23: …in relief
“Okay, this looks like the right spot,” Gordon murmurs. The old house is pitch dark even though the power’s still technically connected. Gordon says it’s more authentic to have the lights off when he’s hunting whatever creature of the night he’s heard rumors about that week.
“Why’s that?” Benrey’s got his hands in his pockets, because while he doesn’t know whatever Gordon thinks might be in here, Benrey knows it’s a wraith. He can feel its presence tingling on the back of his neck, and his fingers have already curled into claws in reflex. Wraiths are predators, and Benrey’s never been very good at being prey.
“Look at the readings,” Gordon says, tilting the screen of his current handheld machine toward Benrey, who bends his head obligingly to look. Sure enough, the little ticker arm is bouncing between the yellow and red on the right-hand side of the little colored arch behind the window, and it’s emitting a merry series of clicks and chirps.
“That’s…sure is some readings,” Benrey says. Gordon huffs and pulls the machine back.
“Just keep an eye out for anything weird,” he says, and moves carefully away across the creaky floor. Benrey rolls his eyes at him, even as he tightens his claws into fists.
